I am somewhat disappointed to find the new auger chipped, exposing rough surfaces in several places. It's better than my old one, which is seriously cracked and stained, but I'm afraid it will be hard to keep clean.
I LOVE the juicer and use it a lot both for juicing and grinding sprouted grains for crackers.

Great product and fast delivery. My auger was broken for awhile and it would juice but after a bit it would get stuck and I could not juice anymore. The new one solved the problem of half the juice ending up on the counter and the pulp getting stuck in the tube.

I purchased a new tee pee screen first and found that although my problems were less they still were present. After I purchased the new auger my performance went back to the way it worked when I purchased it. In hindsight, knowing what I know now I would probably upgrade to the new and improved version because I can see how the augur is going to wear out relatively quickly again as compared to the reinforced newer version. Hindsight is expensive, but this should get me down the road for a while. Meanwhile, my motor is as strong as ever.

Having an extra Auger I thought was a good idea. I really abused the Auger that came with my Samson 6in1. I juice watermelon with the rind, carrots & beets (cut into bite size pieces). But the Samson Juicer does a better job with leafy and soft vegetables and fruit.
