10 Tray SS Dehydrator

This dehydrator is very large and bulky . My other boss wanted this one. Happy wife Happy life! It is quiet compared to the old 1980's unit.
The temperature controller , in my opinion, needs to be improved. I monitor the temperature with a thermometer.
The power chord is 1 meter long not four feet.
Our power chord is nine inches short of four (4) feet. This seller has good customer service.

I had a different, popular dehydrator ordered when I found this. Thankfully, I was able to cancel that other order before it shipped. I had a few efficient exchanges with Kevin, from HealthNut Alternatives, before making the swap. This unit is such a value. The dimensions are compatible with accessories intended for other units, like silicone mesh screens/non-stick sheets. (Highly recommend those, too.) It’s solidly built, so very quiet (it’s right outside my bedroom doorway), simple to use, and delivers great, consistent results. I’ve done onion bread, chia chips, fruit leathers, and black bean sweet potato burgers. There’s so much packed in this unit for the price: stainless steel, common dimensions, programmable timer, hinged glass door, and great customer service. If I had found it after the return date for my other purchase, I’d be forever regretful. I really did not want plastic (or noise). In hindsight, even if budget were not a factor, I’d still choose the Samson dehydrator over stainless models by more popular brands. There’s a LOT to be said for fair pricing. I mean...come on...these mechanisms are not complicated.

This dehydrator is amazing. It is truly silent. I've only used a couple times but i love the ability to control time and temperature. It gets the job done with class.

I purchased this to replace a LEM 5 tray unit, which worked well but its temperatures had large fluctuations- a 15 - 20 degree range- measured.
This Samson's measured temperatures only fluctuate +/- 1 to 2 degrees depending upon slot measured. The temperatures measured of the middle 6 trays closely follow the temperature setting selected while the top tray is the warmest. The bottom tray's temp is a small bit warmer than the middle trays.
This unit is quiet and seems to be built very well. If it holds up to long term usage the money will be well spent.

If you are looking for a quiet dehydrator, this model is the one to buy. I can watch TV while it is running without upping the volume. Also, it is easy to use,etc. Most of all it works well!

Fantastic Silent Samson Stainless Steel Dehydrator SB 1010SS. I already try to dehydrated apples, bananas, turkey jerky, healthy snacks with oatmeal, nuts, berries. Really good results, different from health food from the stores, but delicious. And for sure no preservatives, and coloring added.
Good size Dehydrator, not small, not big, really silent. Easy to operate. Received my dehydrator fast, in a really good package, original box, and a shipping box, but surprised it has a little dot dent on the top roof surface, prior packaging in the original box from manufacturer. It has not affected the work of the dehydrator, just the esthetic look. Highly recommend product for a little healthier life style.

Samson "Silent" 10 is WOW

We received our unit about 5 days after placing the order. It is a solidly built unit that weights over 45 pounds. We set it up for first try on it's packing box fully expecting it to be very noisy, it was incredibly quite. With 10 trays it will hold a lot of food. So far we have done apple, banana and grapes. The apples and grapes turned out great while the bananas turned brown. That was no fault of the dehydrator. over all we are extremely happy with the Samson and Healthnut.

I love how quiet it is. It arrived dented. Company was notified, but they didn't contact me back. It was dented before it was packaged, not from delivery error. I even sent in photos of the damage.
Samson Dehydrator

Received this a few days ago and was unsure if this unknown brand would be as good as the brand names. It wasn't. IT WAS BETTER. First, it's a beautiful unit that would fit in any kitchen decor (although rather large). It is very quiet. I had dehydrated some beef jerky and in 8 hours, it came out perfect. My neighbors went crazy over the quality of it. The only thing I would change (and really not a big issue) is that I could set my own timer and temperature, as this is set a preset increments. Anyway, it's a great unit so don't hesitate to buy.
Great dehydrator

Great dehydrator, quiet and very quick drying. Easy to understand and use. Great replacement to our old one who's timer had broken.
