I have been using samson brand for over 10 years, especially the juicer. In my opinion the scoop style screen is the best and durable. I Just bought a new scoop screen to replace the cracked one that has not made my juicing a smooth ride.

A big improvement over the GB9001...we broke the augur so upgraded to the new components, including this screen, and a new augur, holder, whatever it's called, and the mounting flange as the augurs are slightly different bertween the old model and the new.
It was worth the $85 or so it cost, it extracts more juice and the screen is easier to clean too. We've had our 9001 model since 2005 - love it. Built like a fortress.

My original screen cracked after a year, with one to two juices being made a day, so no complaints.

This screen shipped quickly, was reasonably priced and oh so shiny and new!

Always buy my replacement screen from thses folks, always buy two at a time and these folks always ship very promptly and never have had a problem with them. Will definitely buy again as I use my Samson juicer daily, the screens just don't last more than 6 months. Have bought other parts as well, whenever I need them. The Best!

the first was broken by the use of hard vegetables into large pieces (carrots, beetroot ...)
has to avoid or use only small pieces alternating with tender fruit or vegetables.

Samson electric juicers are the best; especially for wheatgrass. This screen was
purchased as an extra to have on hand,just incase something happened to the original one.
Wheatgrass is very fibrous and it is very tough
on juicers but the Samson advanced #9005 is so
awesome. The pulp comes out very dry. I have
tried an Omega juicer and the screen is not
stainless steel like this one. It does not have
any steel and is all plastic so mine broke twice. Then I purchased a Samson and was very
pleased.

Our original one was cracked and pulp was getting stuck in the cracks. Replaced with a new one and everything is working perfectly again. It's easier to clean now too.
