Imported from Germany, this wooden mandolin is ideal for shredding cabbage and other vegetables. It is a terrific tool for slicing cabbage into 2-3mm strands for placement your fermenting crock to make sauerkraut.
Place your vegetable securely inside the cabbage box and slide it over the 3 very sharp stainless steel cutting blades. This mandolin makes for quick, easy, and efficient shredding. The cabbage box does provide some safety, but as with any sharp instrument caution is needed when using this product.
